Last night the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Exchange.  It’s a large networking event that plays host to over 500 of Chicago’s finest working people!  It’s a chance to network with a very wide varity of industries at all levels of size - from T-Mobile, to Katherine Anne Confections. 

 I seriously felt dizzy at the end! 

But I love these types of events.  Everyone is so excited to be there, and they all seem to love what they do!  Not to mention the great catering!

But seriously, these events, as “crazy” as they get, are a great way to get your name and face out there.  You can spend all the money in the world on the best marketing, but there’s nothing better than good old networking. 

People will always work with other people that they know.  And how can they get to trust you if they don’t know you? 

So get out there….meet and greet!  Let people see that shining smile!
